This complete album is a full production, with multi-layered instrumentation, including, in some cases, orchestral backing arrangements, drums & percussion, keyboard lines and more.

For me, it was a labour of love that helped me work through a very challenging transition in my life, and the themes generally point to finding light, love and forgiveness in the heart of darkness.

I wrote this song for my daughter to tell her that I missed her, and even though I was no longer living with her, I would always love her endlessly without limitation, no matter what.

I grew up with the sounds of folksy, prog-rock legends like Led Zeppelin and Wishbone Ash. Stylistically this definitely owes a lot to them. 'The Wheel' refers to inspiration taken from the 'Wheel of Fortune' depicted in a deck of Tarot cards.

In the days after 9/11, alongside the anger, grief and shock there was an outpouring of compassion as humanity sensed the united feeling of a shared experience. Teachers like Deepak Chopra sent out emails calling for 'the invocation of the heart' over that of revenge. This song wrote itself in about half an hour at that time and reflects that call to see the eternal light that exists and unites every human being.

This song is my interpretation of a translation of a traditional Hindu prayer: Galey Bhajan. It's a joyful, rock out sing-a-long song that can uplift you out of any dirge! It opens with a refrain from the original prayer, sung in Hindi by Sapna Manglani. Enjoy!
